I’ve seen that the 1080ti’s pull about 250watts each. Wondering what your whole rig is pulling?

  • Digital Gold

Thank you we need more of this!

  • ilhan çalışkan

Hi BitCoinHog, firstly thank you for detailed expression. I searched a lot of different graphic card models. From GTX 970 to GTX 1080Ti and until from R9 290 to RX580. and finally reaching the conclusion best of card for mining GTX 1070. why GTX 1070 price & performance. shortly you can pay same money for GTX 1070 but you can get more Hashrate from them. power consuption almost same, budget same but you can get more hashrate from GTX 1070. Why because you will buy more graphic card with same budget ;)

17 dollars a day? how is that profitable? 1.5 years to break even

  • Sphoxros

Did you replace the stock thermal paste on the cards ? That usually helps quite a but with mining rigs to keep the temps lower.

  • Josh Stohr

You weren’t “adjusting each card” when you were doing the temp and clock mods. You were only changing one card, the “master” even as you modified each card. That’s what the little dots are right next to the name of each GPU. U have to click the little de link button to the right of the card names. Also u weren’t changing the power and target temp as u were saying they were sliding together, u have to click on the little chain link to separate the 2 right to the left of the slider.

So nicehash got hacked you lose ALL? If yes , man sucks

  • Linh Nguyen Ba

What’s the mining profit for now? Just an update :) I’m thinking about it

  • Paul Serban

A stongly recommend HashFLare. The miners are on limited stock right now, so hurry up. You can use this code: https://hashflare.io/r/E97F7003 for a discount.

Hi, wow what a great set up, clever idea about the coffee table, which can be a cheap alternative. well done. I was wondering if you could quickly help. What PSU(s) can I use to connect to a said amount of GTX 1070 TI's. I have a Corsair 500W PSU at the moment. I want to mine, but have no clue about how many GPU's I can add to a specific PSU. Thanks.

Cool video, one note:Show the finished product in the beginning, it makes it easier to watch the whole process.

Also great video! Too many videos like this on YouTube that don’t show the rigs performance.

SATA powered risers can cause overdraw, which can end up causing a fire. Case made of a wooden table can fuel the fire even more. I'd change those SATA risers to 6pin or Molex, otherwise a nice build you've got there.

  • Bluecore

If you mine like Eth or Zcash and trade it for Bitcoin you might make even more money.Best of luck!

    U use ASIC for bitcoin

  • Curtis Jordan

More like "coffee table turned into a heater" lol.

  • Xaero

This video is a good example of a lot of things you shouldnt do. First of, get the plastic OFF from the cards. Secondly, the fans in the back is flowing the wrong direction. Also, 8K for that hardware? Man you over paid HUGE on that....

Hi do you know the name of the decibel level app you are ussing

  • erdubya

8k in 12 months... you sure about that? I wish my ROI was less than 12 months.

  • pamma s

I just got 0.1 BTC via this website. Google "bitxploit" for more info

  • Mike Browski

I just wanna say thank you clearly I wish I had someone as capable I am trying to get into it but clearly I do not have the hardware. :(

  • Jim A

Your math is a bit off, you are looking at around $6500/yr. Also your title is rather click-baity for people new to mining. Like you stated, you are not mining bitcoin. Nicehash which mines the most profitable coin and switches to the highest all the time - its a decent application for new miners. $alt coin prices fluctuate constantly, calculating that along with other factors - its best to estimate around 20% less than what straight math ($ x days in a year) tells you, based off my experience.

as a gamer i wouldnt want to buy a used mining graphics card

  • Louie M

Very nice build... Man I would not mind having at least 1 card... At the moment those are running close to $800 a little to much for me right now. I'm looking to get the 1070ti but there's so many version I think i might go with Evga one or which one would you recommend for a better hash rate? Currently I have a 1050ti ssc running but I just started to mining. Wanted to find something cheap to start out with.

  • ShoresOfHelll

Few questions:1) Is wood a good component for case or use aluminium?2) Why aren't u mining ether? Wouldn't that be more profitable for u?Thanks. Awesome video.

  • erdubya

What kind of fan controller is that? You have a link?

  • shyam george

Hey, is it still running. Are you still making money after repairs or replacement etc?
